Iowa
State University has received funding from the
National Science Foundation Scholarships for Service
program to support students working in Information
Assurance. Each year 4 graduate fellowships for two years of study
at Iowa State.
Program
participants will take courses
in information assurance as part of their regular
degree requirements. In addition, all scholarship
recipients will become part of an SFS cohort group
and participate in academic and social activities
throughout the year. The scholarship also requires
a service commitment consisting of a paid summer internship
and one year of paid employment at a federal agency.
Graduate
applicants should possess (or be receiving) an undergraduate
degree in a relevant field, with a GPA of at least
3.2. The fellowship includes all tuition,
room, board, books and fees, as well as a $12,000
annual stipend.
The application deadline for Fall
2008 is March 7.

for service program. This page includes a list
of frequently asked questions that may be of interest
to both prospective applicants to the program and
students currently in the program.
In addition ISU is part of the IASP scholarship program.
This program requires the students to submit an application
along with the material from ISU to the DoD. The DoD will
select the students. Information on the IASP scholarship
can be found on the DOD web site. This page includes

due Feb 15 to ISU. If you are interested in this program email
