This year we are offering a new and exciting way to become invovled with computer security
The new program is specifically focused on information assurance and cyber defense. It is open to any group of high school students who are interested in gaining more knowledge of installing and protecting computers, networks and services. If a group of students at your high school forms a club, they will receive “mini” lectures on computer security which are developed at Iowa State University and delivered via DVD. Additionally, each club will get three computers and some networking equipment with which they can experiment. Further, our program helps pair a working IT professional in your local area with your high school club to help mentor the students and put them back on track when experiments go awry. Due to the focus on this new program we have discontinued the Computer Security Camp.
